No summary of your professional philosophy, no headline to agonise over — the point of your profile is to help someone decide whether a game with you is worth the trip.
  • 02 · Set your rangeYou choose which sports you're open to, what level you're looking for, and how far you're willing to travel. A padel court twenty minutes away and a golf course an hour out are different decisions, and only you can make them. Change any of it whenever you like — your range in June isn't your range in November.
  • 03 · See who's actually nearbyTsungo uses your location to show you professionals inside the range you set — people whose game matches yours and whose working life is close enough to yours to be interesting. You see who they are and what they do before anything else happens.

A shared industry, a course you've both played, a question you'd value their take on — one honest sentence does more than anything that reads like a template. If they accept, the chat opens and the rest is between you: pick a time, pick a place, book the court or the tee time yourselves.
  • 05 · Play. Then decide what happens next.Talk about work or don't. Some games turn into a client, a hire, a partner or an advisor. Some turn into a regular Thursday match, which is worth something too. There's no follow-up you're obliged to send and no connection to maintain for appearances.

An empty court at two on a Tuesday is gone forever.

Court hours and tee times are the most perishable inventory there is. Discount them and you train your regulars to wait for the discount. Leave them empty and they're simply lost.

The people who would fill those hours mostly aren't missing the motivation or the money. They're missing a partner. A padel court needs four people free at the same time; a round is more fun as a pair or a four-ball. That coordination problem is the thing standing between your quiet hours and a full book — and it's exactly what Tsungo solves.

When two members agree to play in your area, they have to pick somewhere. Early partners are the venues we name — and as soon as there are partners to list, the listing goes into the app.

A discounted off-peak round, a reduced court hour, a first-visit rate. You choose the offer, the hours and the limits — it should fill the gaps in your book, not undercut your prime time.

Host an event

Events are already built into the app. A tournament, a club morning, an organised ride — put it in front of members directly, alongside the open games they're already joining.

Honesty, because you'd find out anyway

We're early, and you'd be early with us.

Tsungo is in beta. We are not going to quote you a number of members in your area, because the honest answer is “fewer than there will be next year” and you deserve that straight rather than dressed up.

What being early gets you: first position in your area, a say in how venue partnerships work before the rules harden, and a partner who will tell you what's working rather than what sounds good on a slide.

And it costs you nothing

The first venues come on board free, as a pilot. You decide what you'd offer, we point players to you, and we both find out what works before anyone talks about money. If partnership becomes a paid product later, you'll hear it from us in a conversation — not in an invoice.

None of this is new. Sport has been where professional trust gets built for as long as there has been business to do. What's been missing is a way in. Access ran through memberships, invitations and knowing the right person already — and if you weren't in, it may as well not have existed.

That's the part we're building.

Why we built it

Somewhere along the way, networking stopped meaning meeting people.

We got tired of platforms where the work is polishing your own profile and collecting contacts you will never speak to. A connection you've never met isn't a connection. It's a number that makes you feel busier than you are.

We wanted the opposite. Fewer people, met properly, doing something we'd want to be doing anyway.

Wellbeing

Networking that leaves you better off than it found you.

The traditional version costs you something. A late dinner, another drink, an evening away from home, a morning you can feel it.

Ours costs you an hour of exercise you already wanted to take. That isn't a side benefit — it's half the point. Time is the thing working people have least of, and spending it on something that serves your network and your health is the only honest way to ask for it.

The basics

What is Tsungo?

An app that matches professionals who want to play sport with each other — and gets them onto a court, a course or a route together. The network you end up with is made of people you've actually met.

What does it cost?

Nothing during the beta. We'll say so clearly, and in advance, if that changes.

Who is it for?

Working professionals who'd rather build a network by doing something they enjoy than by sending messages. Founders, sales and business leaders, consultants and specialists, and anyone new to a city who wants both contacts and someone to play with.

Which sports?

Golf, tennis, padel, running and cycling are the filters you can search by — the ones people find easiest to network around. What you and your match actually decide to do together is up to you.

Can I have more than one sport?

Yes. Add every sport you play and you'll be matched across all of them.

Do I need to be good?

No. Matching accounts for level, so the game is worth playing for both of you — whatever that level is.

Is this a dating app?

No. Profiles, matching and the whole design are built around professional connections.

Finding people

How does matching work?

You set your sports, the level you're looking for and how far you're willing to travel. Tsungo uses your location to show you professionals inside that range whose game and working life fit yours.

How do I get in touch with someone?

Send a connection request with a short note about why you'd like to meet. They accept or decline. If they accept, a chat opens and you take it from there.

What should I write in that note?

One honest sentence. A shared industry, a course you've both played, a question you'd value their take on. Anything that reads like a template gets treated like one.

Who books the court or the tee time?

You do, between yourselves. Tsungo introduces you and gets out of the way.

What if nobody near me plays my sport yet?

Tsungo is new, and the network grows outward from where its members already are. Widen your range, add every sport you play, and look at the open games — joining one of those doesn't depend on being matched with anyone first.

What are open games?

Games a member posts with room for others: a round with two spots free, a morning run from a set place, a court booked and short of a fourth. Anyone can join.

What about bigger events?

Partner venues put on tournaments, club mornings and organised rides. Members see them the same way.

Can I host one myself?

Yes. Post the time, the place and how many people can join.

Can I see who else is coming?

Yes — everyone attending is visible, including to the host.

Can a host choose who joins?

Not at the moment. An open game is open to any member who has room to join it.

Your profile, your privacy

Who can see my profile?

Other members. Your profile exists so someone can decide whether a game with you is worth the trip, so it shows who you are, what you do and how you play.

How is my location used?

To show you people and games within the range you set, and to show you to them. You control the range. [exact wording pending: precise location vs. approximate distance]

Do you verify members?

No. Members sign up with their own name and describe their own working life, and that's what you see — we don't check it for them. Use the same judgement you'd use meeting anyone new.

Can I block or report someone?

Do members get discounts at partner venues?
